Development process at PSS®X¶

Iterations¶

We follow the SCRUM development process and have 3-weekly sprints. We conduct sprint review at the end of the sprint, demonstrating all new features, which fulfill our definition-of-done.

Planning¶

We perform planning every 3 weeks, following our sprint cycle. Our product owners define the sprint backlog based on the roadmap, business and architectural requirements. Following an agile process, we are flexible to incorporate new requirements and adjust the priorities.

Long Term Vision & Strategy¶

Create a platform to enable focus on studying instead of maintaining network model data

Together with energy system operators we create a modern software environment which provides a central platform to store and maintain all necessary network model information to operate the power grid and provides high-quality, ready-to-use simulation models.

Issue Triage¶

We consider the issues frequently while preparing the planning meeting and prioritize them based on project needs.
